"GHOSTS"..... Do they really exist..??

IN THIS 21ST CENTURY when people are living in top-notch epoch that is the technically advanced society, if you talk of “Ghost” very few people will believe you and your unscientific notion. They shall easily say that there is no scintilla of truth in it. Being from an educated family it is hard to believe in ghosts. As per science ghosts do not exist.
So i decided to do a sort of research on this topic. Hence started Googling, Read Books.
Here is what i came accross........

Definition of Ghost
According to Hans Holzer, noted ghost and apparition chaser, "A ghost is a human being who has passed out of the physical body, usually in a traumatic state and is not aware usually of his true condition....due to trauma, is stuck in our physical world and needs to be released to go on."

Proofs that ghosts exists:-
Recent discoveries in quantum physics (the study of the physics of sub-atomic particles) and in cosmology (the branch of astronomy and astrophysics that deals with the universe taken as a whole) shed much light on how mind interacts with the universe.  These discoveries compel acceptance of the idea that there is far more than just one universe and that we constantly interact with many of these "hidden" universes.
Unfortunately, most books on quantum cosmology are written in language that an ordinary intelligent person cannot understand.  Moreover, many if not most scientists are in a state of denial of anything supernatural.  They are blind to the paranormal and simply cannot see the obvious logical conclusions of their own discoveries.
What is needed is a source that explains in understandable, non-mathematical terms the relationship between mind and matter––how spirit and mind interact with the physical world.

Some short experiences given by unknown people which I

read during this whole process:

Through The Toughest Times She Was There
This is some-what of a recent story since it happened at least six months or so ago.
It's been a difficult year for my mom and me. My mother, myself, and my grandfather had to take care of my grandmother who had a stroke in March of 2009, and died later that year the week before Thanksgiving Day. Along with that, all three of us were sick, a chronological sickness though, no viruses or what have you.
Some people say that spirits linger a little longer on Earth, just to look after their family and friends before they pass on to the other side. Not so long after my grandmother died, my mom and I moved in with my grandfather to keep him company after we sold our old house that seemed unpleasant and not so inviting. We moved out before school started and got an apartment. We still visit my grandfather, but there is a presence that lingered there one day. I walked into the house and smelled my grandmother's most worn perfume when she was alive. My mother never wears any of her mom's perfume or seldom buys the same scents as hers. I felt a full, heavy feeling in my stomach but I wasn't startled. The scent left, but her form and aura could be easily seen and felt.
I don't feel that presence any longer and I never had the courage to tell my mom or my grandfather, knowing how they would say I was "pretending".

Scary Sleep Pressure

I have read many stories about ghosts sleep paralysis, etc. and can see quite a lot of logic. I feel I have to post this story in order to get my own answers based on other people’s experiences as it's not easy to just ask the right person.
For the last couple of years I have been experiencing a strange feeling whilst I have been sleeping. It has probably happened about 15 times all in all and I am 22 years old. Now, when I am asleep, I might be dreaming of whatever and then all of a sudden I feel some sort of presence around me. Now this feeling is really nice and it makes me feel really relaxed. I also feel like I'm in the state of waking up. Then all of a sudden, I feel immense pressure on my two shoulder blades pushing me into the bed (I always sleep on my stomach). Now, normally you can wake yourself up from dreams, but from this, I can't. I am fully aware that something horrible is going on. I feel my heartbeat race and start to panic, nothing I can do seems to stop it and as I can't see whats going on its even worse. I can however clinch my fist but its a real struggle. Then all of a sudden it stops and I wake up feeling really scared. Now I'm not the type to get scared easy or anything, but it's just how I feel. Another time, just before the warm safe feeling, I felt what can only be described as dog feet walking across my bed and duvet. Then it turned into another episode with the same results. This only happened once.
I have since moved out with my partner and it has happened again which leads me to believe it might be sleep paralysis. However I have never felt so much terror before in my life as when this happens. I feel like I am being tricked to feel safe and then set upon by something really nasty. What I am really hoping to achieve is that someone might be able to relate to this and help in finding out more about it.
An interesting point to add is that my Dad has also suffered from this. When I told him briefly about it, he explained it to me in detail and it was scary how similar the symptoms were. So if anyone can shed some light I would be really greatful. Thanks for all your time!

GHOST HOUSE

In Sileby, Leicestershire, about 1998-1999, when I was roughly 3-4 years old, I was just becoming of age to notice goings on around me. You may also just say that I had a very active imagination. In the living room of our 200+ year old house, we had a rocking chair, and when I was playing at times, I would see a old woman knitting something in this chair.
I remember I used to sit there for what seemed like hours, talking to her. I told my mother about this old woman and she asked me questions about my sightings. A few years on, I mentioned this ghost to my mum again; at this point she was working in the local news shop. She went to work and discussed my sightings with a few of the elderly residents of our village. One woman claimed a lady used to live in our house when she was growing up, but died of natural causes. No one knows her name, though.
On another occasion in this house, my best friend and I got a very eerie feeling as we passed through the bathroom door. Again, I told my mother about this. She told me about a ghost her mother once saw at the bathroom door. My grandma claims to have felt as though she had bumped into another human being, but as she looked around she could not see anybody there, although across from the bathroom is my baby brother's room, which for years has been extremely cold no matter how hot the heating is on.
In my own bedroom, stuff that has been on my shelves for years and years will randomly fall off in the night, and my china doll has been moved a few times. Before now, I have also awakened with marks on my bodies that weren’t there before. I have no clue if I have made them or if it was a presence in my room. I'm thinking it's a presence as my door is always shut at night, then in the morning, or when I wake up for the toilet, my door is wide open with a cold spot at my door.

I believe in them. However, I think most of the pictures are photoshopped. You guys need to watch Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel. There's usually new ones on Friday at 9:00, and there's reruns on in the afternoon Thursday and Friday. Those guys are the reason why I believe, plus a couple experiences I have had.
