Artificial Intelligence at its best...!!
Artificial intelligence moves to the next level. Japanese researchers developed a robot which can automatically identify and pick ripe strawberries from the field. The machine developed by the Institute of Agricultural Machinery’s Bio-Oriented Technology Research Advancement Institution also known as the IAM-BRAIN will be able to harvest about 60 percent of a strawberry crop.

On October 10, 2010, Canonical released the latest version of it’s Ubuntu Linux Operating System, 10.10 “Maverick Meerkat”. Being the 12 release of this operating system, they have a short, but reliable history of being a top notch Linux Operating System provider.
This comparison will take a look at 5 different aspects of Ubuntu 10.10, and compare them to Windows 7 to determine how it compares on a parity level to what is available. I will not be looking at comparing specific Applications, like office suites, Media Players, Games or Web Browsers. This is a User Experience review only, based on the default settings from each operating system and Data s Collected from Different Forums and Websites.
Each Operating System will be given a grade (out of 20) for each of these areas, which will help set out a useful score.

Zynga: CityVille eclipses FarmVille as the world’s biggest game
In just 22 days, Zynga’s CityVille has eclipsed FarmVille as the world’s biggest game.
Today, CityVille added an astounding 6.9 users to end the day at 61.7 million monthly active users, compared with 56.8 million for FarmVille, according to stat collector AppData. Before today, FarmVille, also made by Zynga, was the biggest social game on Facebook, and it also happened to be the biggest game on any platform in terms of the sheer volume of users.

Scientists developing E.Coli bacteria that stores, encrypts data....
Apparently it's not good enough for bacteria to cause leprosy and tuberculosis any more, as scientists have been hard at work adapting the microorganisms for use as everything from microbial fuel cell to really, really small gears. Now, researchers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong have developed a way to use a colony of E.Coli for data storage and encryption. The technique involved placing data (in this case, The Declaration of Independence) in the DNA of bacterial cells, and can even harness site specific genetic recombination to encrypt the data. That said, the technology is still in its infancy: retrieving the info is "tedious and expensive," according to Cambridge University's Tim Middleton, and there is still the possibility that as organisms mutate, so will the data. Currently the only application of all this is the storage of copyright info in genetically engineered organisms, although further research might yield a bacterial storage medium that could survive the electromagnetic pulses and radiation of nuclear fallout.
